Second Thoughts

Spent most of Thanksgiving scouring the internet for places to announce the event. It feels like trying to start a fire without matches: lots of effort with no guarantee of a successful outcome. No RSVPs yet except family and friends.

A Beginning

This blog chronicles the progress of my attempts to support action on climate change via events I call "velo vigils": groups cycling in tight formation for the specific purpose of highlighting cycling's unique ability to simultaneously address issues with health, transportation, community, and the environment. Unlike critical mass, the goal is to share the street not take it over, while conveying a specific peaceful message in a bold way.
